THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
This plat, located on 18.2 acres on the north side of Wiles Road, between State Road 7 and Banks Road, in the City of Coconut Creek, is currently restricted to 270 garden apartments on Parcel A; 116,293 square feet of self-storage (including 1,850 square feet of office and one resident manager unit) on Parcel B; and 8,750 square feet of restaurant on Parcel C. The applicant is requesting to eliminate the restaurant use and add 89,966 square feet of self-storage including 1,945 square feet of office on Parcel C.
