The Planning Council, as the Local Planning Agency (LPA) responsible for the Broward County Land Use Plan, considered the following proposed text amendment, PCT 19-3, at its October 25, 2018 public hearing and recommended approval(Vote of the Planning Council; Unanimous: 11-0; Blackwelder, Blattner, Breslau, Brunson, Castillo, DiGiorgio, Graham, Hardin, Rich, Rosenzweig and Stermer) and also recommended approval at its January 24, 2019 public hearing (Vote of the Planning Council; Unanimous: 14-0; Blackwelder, Blattner, Breslau, Brunson, Castillo, DiGiorgio, Good, Graham, Hardin, Rich, Rosenof, Rosenzweig, Williams and Stermer)
AMENDMENT PCT 19-3
Amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan Text
Existing Miramar Activity Center II, reducing development threshold of office land uses by 500,000 square feet and amending residential dwelling unit types for single-family and multi-family.
Approximately 439.7 acres: generally located east of Southwest 66 Avenue and bound on the north by Pembroke Road, on the east by State Road 7/U.S. 441, and on the south by County Line Road, in the City of Miramar.
Further, if the County Commission sets the public hearing, the full amendment report and associated attachments will be included as an exhibit to the public hearing item.
