THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
This plat, located on 97.8 acres on the southwest corner of Red Road and Miramar Parkway, in the City of Miramar, is currently restricted to 142,000 square feet of office on Parcel 9A; 7,000 square feet of commercial use on Parcel 9B; 73,333 square feet of commercial use on Parcels 1-7, 14,000 square feet of commercial use on Parcel 8; 309,000 square feet of industrial use on Parcel 10; and drainage and water management area on Parcel 11. The applicant is requesting add 123 hotel rooms to Parcel 9A. There are no changes on the previously approved commercial, office and industrial uses. See attached Staff Report.
