THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
This plat, located on 102.1 acres on the northwest corner of Stirling Road and Bryan Road, in the City of Dania Beach, is currently restricted to 893,000 square feet of commercial use, 506,000 square feet of office, 7,000 square feet of bank, 300 room hotel, a service station with 12 fueling positions and 1,000 high rise units. The applicant is requesting eliminate the service station, add 50 hotels rooms and 44,260 commercial use for a total of 937,260 square feet of commercial use and 350 hotel rooms.
