THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
This plat, located on 27.2 acres at the southeast corner of Pines Boulevard (SR 820) and Southwest 160 Avenue, in the City of Pembroke Pines, is currently restricted to 115,000 square feet of commercial use on Parcel A-1 and 248,573 square feet of United States Postal Service Facility on Parcel A-2. The applicant is requesting to divide the plat into Parcels A-1, A-2A and A-2B; to restrict Parcel A-1 and A-2B to 135,000 square feet of commercial use and Parcel A-2A to 125 single family units.
