THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop a 220,000 square foot parking garage for the Brightline passenger rail station and 2,000 square feet of commercial use on approximately 1.0 acres, located on the south side of Northwest 2 Street between Northwest 3 Avenue and Northwest 4 Avenue, in the City of Fort Lauderdale.
