THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
This plat, located on 18.0 acres on the north side of Broward Boulevard, between Northwest 22 Avenue and Northwest 25 Avenue, in the City of Fort Lauderdale, is restricted to 260,000 square feet of office use and 80,000 square feet of commercial use. The applicant is requesting to divide Parcel A into five parcels, and to change the use from office to commercial and industrial. Parcels A-1 and A-2 are restricted 70,000 square feet of commercial use; 256,000 square feet of industrial use on Parcel A-3; 9,000 square feet of commercial and 165,000 square feet of self-storage use on Parcel A-4; and private ingress/egress on Parcel A-5.
