THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
This plat, located on 26.5 acres on the west side of Nob Hill Road between Oakland Park Boulevard and Northwest 33 Street, in the City of Sunrise, is currently restricted to 112 villas and 71,000 square feet of Public Community Facility. The applicant is requesting to bifurcate Parcel A into Parcels A-1 and A-2; while allocating the 112 existing villa units to Parcel A-1 and increasing the square footage of the existing public community facility use to 120,000 square feet of Municipal Civic Center with the addition of 10.1 acres of outdoor recreational facilities.
