THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
This plat, located on 20.0 acres on the north side of Oakland Park Boulevard (SR 816), west of Inverrary Boulevard, in the City of Lauderhill, is currently restricted to 10,719 square feet of library use on Parcel A and 26,193 square feet of public safety building, 180,000 square feet of commercial use, 5,915 square feet of bank use and 150 hotel rooms on Parcel B. The applicant is requesting to bifurcate Parcel B into Parcels B-1 and B-2, assign the current development rights for Parcel B to Parcel B-1 and add 6,600 square feet of bank to Parcel B-2.
