PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION/REAL PROPERTY SECTION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This parcel, identified by Folio Number 4842-12-00-0600, was acquired by the County in 1975 with a restriction that it may only be used as a public right-of-way. Most of the roads surrounding this parcel are municipal roads. Staff contacted the City of Deerfield Beach inquiring whether they would accept conveyance of this parcel pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 335.0415. The City is willing to accept title with the deed restriction.
All applicable Broward County agencies were solicited for potential County use for this parcel or rights therein, and no current or future use was identified.
All documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
