Summary Explanation/Background
The Broward League of Cities bylaws require the County to appoint a Director, Alternate, and Second Alternate to attend and vote at any Board of Directors or General Membership Meeting of the Broward League of Cities. Those appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to the Broward League of Cities Board of Directors serve a one-year term, which expires on the date of the installation dinner. The term of this year’s appointments will commence May 19th, 2018.
 
Presently, the following Commissioners represent the Board of County Commissioners at meetings of the Broward League of Cities Board of Directors: Dale Holness, Director; Mayor Beam Furr, Alternate; Barbara Sharief, Second Alternate.
