MOTION TO ACKNOWLEDGE AND FILE Office of the County Auditor’s Audit of Risk Management Division Workers’ Compensation Section – Report No. 18-20.

ACTION:  (T-12:18 PM)  Approved.

VOTE:  9-0.

We have conducted an audit of the Workers’ Compensation Section of Risk Management Division (RMD). We conclude that payments were appropriate and properly documented, with the exception of $14,034 in questionable pharmacy charges for one claim. We conclude that payment and program administration activities are in accordance with appropriate laws.  We noted Opportunities for Improvement in processing procedures, policies, and practices.  Our report contains a total of 13 recommendations for improvement.
