MOTION TO FILE Quarterly Financial Report for the Children’s Services Council of Broward County for the quarter ending March 31, 2018.

ACTION:  (T-12:18 PM)  Approved.

VOTE:  9-0.

In accordance with Florida Statutes §125.901(3)f and Laws of Florida, Chapter 2000-461, Section 4(6), the Children’s Services Council of Broward County is required to file a Quarterly Financial Report with the Board.

THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE ACCOUNTING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
 
The quarterly financial report for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 for the Children’s Services Council is attached as Exhibit 1. For the quarter ending March 31, 2018, the Children’s Services Council had total receipts of $6,589,945 and total expenditures of $17,847,897. Administrative costs for the quarter totaled $871,894. During the same period, $61,671,777 was invested or deposited. In addition to the statutory requirements, as requested by the Board on May 14, 2013 (Item No. 32), budget amendments and unaudited financial statements through February 28, 2018 (most recent available) are also attached as Exhibit 2.
