DELEGATION: Eric Fordin regarding request to amend the non-vehicular access line and modify conditions of plat approval on the Gateway Hollywood Plat (039-MP-05). (Commission District 6)

ACTION:  (T-10:27 AM)  Approved per staff's recommendations as outlined in the Yellow-Sheeted Additional Material, dated May 13, 2014, submitted at the request of Environmental Protection and Growth Management Department.

VOTE:  9-0.
Why Action is Necessary
Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Summary Explanation/ Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND REDEVELOPMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND DENIAL, as this request is contingent upon approval of the concurrent plat note amendment, and the concurrent request to amend the plat note is also recommended for DENIAL pursuant to Section 5-180(a)(3) of the Land Development Code as it does not comply with the effective Land Use Plan. See attached Staff Report.
