DELEGATION: Scott Backman regarding request to amend the plat note on the Davie Towne Centre Plat (058-MP-87). (Commission District 7)

(Defer to December 2, 2014, or sooner to study consistency with the effective Land Use Plan.)

Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND REDEVELOPMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND DENIAL in accordance with Section 5-180(a)(3) of the Land Development Code, as this request does not conform to the permitted uses of the Effective Land Use Plan. See attached Staff Report.
