Motion A.
Broward County is taking action to optimize the efficiency of Governmental Center West (GCW) through the installation of new technologies, coupled with a dedication to green sustainable practices. The GCW Green Showcase project will reduce the building's carbon footprint and serve as a model for public-private collaboration, and a showcase of renewable energy technologies and sustainable building practices. Currently, $5,000 has been received for the Showcase Project. Approval to expend, as received, up to $20,000 is being requested with this motion. Should more than $20,000 be received this fiscal year, another unanticipated revenue motion will be brought before the Board.
