On June 29, 2004, the Broward County Commission adopted a revision to the Broward County Land Use Plan designating certain property within the City of Plantation as a Local Activity Center. The Broward County Land Use Plan requires an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Plantation and Broward County which provides for municipal monitoring of development activity and enforcement of permitted land use densities and intensities within the Local Activity Center. The Interlocal Agreement between the City of Plantation and Broward County implements the requirements of the Broward County Land Use Plan for the City's Local Activity Center.
This item was prepared by the Office of the County Attorney, at the request of the Broward County Planning Council and the City of Plantation as a result of the Broward County Land Use Plan amendment designating the Local Activity Center. |
