Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Summary Explanation/ Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND REDEVELOPMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND DENIAL in accordance with Section 5-180(a)(3) and Section 5-182(m)(1)a) of the Land Development Code. The proposed uses are inconsistent with the voluntary restriction made with Broward County Land Use Plan Amendment PC 06-09 regarding unit types and bedroom mixes, and this application is inconsistent with the recorded Declaration of Restrictive Covenants related to Land Use Plan Amendment PC 06-29 regarding school impacts. See attached Development Review Report.
