MOTION TO DISCUSS compensation package for Interim County Auditor Kathie-Ann Ulett. (Mayor Sharief)

ACTION:  (T-11:43 AM)  Following discussion, the Board approved the compensation package for Interim County Auditor Kathie-Ann Ulett as outlined for Broward County Auditor in the Yellow-Sheeted Additional Material, dated February 7, 2017, submitted by the Office of the County Attorney.

VOTE:  8-0.  Vice Mayor Furr was not present.

 
Why Action is Necessary
The Board of County Commissioners needs to establish a compensation package for the Interim County Auditor.

This approval will determine the compensation package for the Interim County Auditor.

Summary Explanation/Background
On January 24, 2017 (Item No. 39), the Board appointed Deputy County Auditor Kathie-Ann Ulett as Interim County Auditor following the retirement of County Auditor Evan Lukic on February 3, 2017. This interim position is effective February 4, 2017.
 
Attached is a memorandum from County Auditor Evan Lukic and a Salary Survey of Internal Auditors from local government agencies that I requested.
