The Office of Economic and Small Business Development did not establish a County Business Enterprise participation goal for this project, because the project is a turnkey solution requiring one contractor to ensure full integration of components and system compatibility (Exhibit 2).
This solicitation is to engage a qualified firm to provide engineering and design services, labor, materials (including all cabling required), and equipment to modernize the audio visual and television broadcast capabilities of the Broward County Emergency Operations Center.
The Request for Letters of Interest (RLI) method of procurement was selected for this project to have the opportunity to evaluate and discover multiple solutions and varying strategies to the challenges of engineering and design services to modernize the audio visual and television broadcast capabilities of the Broward County Emergency Operations Center. Vendors are required to propose the best method to accomplish the services outlined in the RLI (Exhibit 1).
