Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION/REAL PROPERTY SECTION AND WATER WASTEWATER SERVICES RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

A new pump station building and water storage tank have been designed for Site 1B1, located at 300 Northwest 66th Street in Fort Lauderdale and identified by Folio Number 4942-10-30-0010. The proposed improvements require new FPL service and a pad-mounted transformer to be located on the east side of the property. The construction contract to build the new improvements is pending award and construction work cannot commence without the proposed easement. It is normal and customary to grant utility easements for new construction. The FPL easement is an FPL form document and modified to serve Broward County.

All documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
