The Planning Council, as the Local Planning Agency (LPA) responsible for the Broward County Land Use Plan, considered the following proposed map amendment, PC 19-4, at its May 23, 2019, public hearing and recommended approval, including not requiring a second Planning Council public hearing, and recognizing the applicant’s voluntary commitments to 1) restrict the development to 315 dwelling units, and 2) contribute $250 per dwelling unit towards the County's affordable housing programs. (Vote of the Planning Council; Unanimous: 16-0; Blackwelder, Blattner, Brunson, Castillo, DiGiorgio, Good, Graham, Grosso, Hardin, Parness, Railey, Rich, Rosenof, Ryan, Williams and Stermer. From 8.0 acres of Community and 7.0 acres of Commerce to Medium-High (25) Residential
Approximately 15.0 acres; generally located on the southwest corner of Peters Road and Southwest 80 Terrace.
