MOTION TO CONSIDER APPROVAL of a non-vehicular access line revision on the Isgette’s Runway (060-MP-93). (Commission District 7)

ACTION:  (T-10:51 AM)  Approved per staff's recommendations.

VOTE: 9-0.  Vice-Mayor Holness voted in the affirmative telephonically.

Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves a non-vehicular access line amendment adjacent to the plat, subject to staff recommendations and conditions assuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

This plat is located on 20.9 acres, on the south side of Interstate 595, between Southwest 30 Avenue and Southwest 26 Terrace, in the City of Dania Beach. The applicant is requesting to remove a segment of the existing non-vehicular access line (NVAL) along the north plat limits, starting at the northwest corner. The applicant also is requested to reduce the 55-foot opening, at the northwest corner of the plat along Southwest 30 Avenue, to 40 feet. See attached Staff Report.
