MOTION TO AUTHORIZE County Administrator to execute temporary construction license agreement between MSKP Galt Ocean, LLC (Licensor) and Broward County (Licensee) for a portion of the property located at 3800 North Ocean Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale for a term of one year to be used as a temporary construction site during repairs to a bus bay subject to the review and approval as to legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney. (Commission District 4)

ACTION:  (T-10:51 AM)  Approved.

VOTE: 9-0.  Vice-Mayor Holness voted in the affirmative telephonically.

Board of County Commissioners' approval is required to delegate authority to the County Administrator.

Allows the Broward County Transportation Department to make needed repairs to a bus bay located on North Galt Ocean Drive.

The Broward County Transportation Department needs to make needed repairs to a bus bay located on the west side of North Galt Ocean Drive in Fort Lauderdale. The improvements include removing, replacing, and repairing misaligned and damaged brick pavers in and around the bus bay area. Temporary access to a portion of the shopping center owned by Licensor and identified by Folio Number 4943-19-09-0050 is needed during the repairs for staging area. The Licensee is willing to grant the County a license agreement for one year. The parties are in the process of negotiating the final terms of the agreement.
