THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION/REAL PROPERTY SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The four parcels were acquired by Broward County in the 1980s for the expansion of NE 3rd Avenue. The road expansion has been completed and these parcels are not needed for any future use. The City of Deerfield Beach has requested the transfer of these parcels and on February 19, 2019, the Deerfield Beach City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2019/017, which authorized the City to accept the conveyance of these parcels and authorized the City Manager to execute any necessary documents for such conveyance.
Parcel 1. The vacant parcel of land is identified by Folio Number 4842-13-09-0361, approximately 1,849 square feet, and located on the east side of NE 3rd Avenue north of NE 38th Street in Deerfield Beach.
Parcel 2. The vacant parcel of land is identified by Folio Number 4842-13-09-0362, approximately 200 square feet, and located on the east side of NE 3rd Avenue north of NE 38th Street in Deerfield Beach.
Parcel 3. The vacant parcel of land is identified by Folio Number 4842-13-09-0411, approximately 1,350 square feet, and located on the east side of NE 3rd Avenue north of NE 38th Street in Deerfield Beach.
Parcel 4. The vacant parcel of land is identified by Folio Number 4842-13-09-0421, approximately 1,350 square feet, and located on the east side of NE 3rd Avenue north of NE 38th Street in Deerfield Beach.
All applicable Broward County agencies were solicited for potential County use for these parcels or rights therein, and no current or future use was identified.
