The Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Division has received a generous donation in the amount of $10,000 from Ardath B. Rosengarden, who resides in Boca Raton, Florida. Ardath B. Rosengarden has donated the funds to be specifically used to augment the Get Tipped program of the Animal Care and Adoption Division. The Get Tipped program offers free spay and neuter services for feral and free-roaming community cats residing in Broward County. The sterilization effort is aimed at decreasing the number of kittens born before and during "Kitten Season", which is the high breeding time for cats.

Inherent in the motion is authorization for the County Administrator to take all administrative and budgetary actions required to implement the donation. The Resolution is approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
