MOTION TO CONSIDER APPROVAL of a plat entitled Eldridge Park Estates (021-MP-18). (Commission District 5)

ACTION:  (T-11:36 AM)  Approved the plat subject to staff’s recommendations as outlined in the Development Review Report.

VOTE: 9-0.  Commissioner Geller voted in the affirmative telephonically.
Why Action is Necessary
Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
What Action Accomplishes
Approves the plat subject to staff recommendations and conditions assuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

Summary Explanation/Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop five (5) single family detached units on approximately 4.8 acres located at the south side of Southwest 26 Street, between Southwest 148 Avenue and Southwest 154 Avenue, in the Town of Davie. See attached Development Review Report.
