THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop 276 mid-rise units on approximately 11.2 acres located at the south side of Broward Boulevard, between Riverland Road and Southwest 25 Terrace, in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The applicant is also seeking approval to waive the right turn lane right-of-way requirement, as shown in the report (Exhibit 1). The plat is not the subject to Policy 2.16.2 regarding affordable housing, as the site was not subject to the Broward County Land Use Plan Amendment. See attached Development Review Report. |
