MOTION TO APPROVE appointment of Cathy M. Stutin to the Homeless Continuum of Care (HCOC) Board.

VOTE:  9-0.

Board approval is required to fill vacancies on the HCOC.

THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS/BOARDS SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.

The Homeless Continuum of Care Board (HCOC) is composed of 30 voting/nonvoting members, including 19 members who are nominated by specific entities for approval by the Board of County Commissioners. One voting member category provides for a Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce representative to serve on the HCOC. 

The following nomination has been received by the Human Services Department (HSD) for appointment to the HCOC pursuant to Section 12.153(a)4, Broward County Administrative Code:

Cathy M. Stutin nominated as the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Representative. Ms. Stutin was nominated by the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce to serve on the HCOC on March 28, 2019. The County Attorney has determined that Ms. Stutin qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
