Commissioner Furr wishes to utilize the $58,000 in Safe Parks Funds allocated to District 6 to complete renovations and improvements at two community centers in the City of Hollywood. These renovations and improvements will primarily include refinishing and replacing flooring and wall padding at the City of Hollywood’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center and Washington Park Community Center. These are two of the most well-attended and prominent community centers in the area, and these funds will help make long-needed improvements for the betterment of the community.
This item would allocate the $58,000 in Park Bond Funds provided to District 6 to these two projects. |
