MOTION TO APPROVE travel for more than five County employees from the same department to attend the same non-local event on the attached summary, in accordance with Administrative Code - Chapter 3, Part II, Section 3.10 (b) - County Employee Travel.

ACTION:  (T-10:45 AM)  Approved.

VOTE:  9-0.  Commissioner Geller and Vice-Mayor Holness voted in the affirmative telephonically.

Board approval is required for more than five County employees from the same department to attend the same event.

Provides approval needed for compliance with the Administrative Code.

THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT, THE ACCOUNTING DIVISION, AND THE LIBRARIES DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

In accordance with Administrative Code - Chapter 3, Part II, Section 3.10 (b) - County Employee Travel, attached is a request for 13 County employees from the Libraries Division to attend the annual Florida Library Association Annual Conference (FLA Conference) in Orlando, Florida.

The annual FLA Conference is scheduled for May 15-17, 2019. The group of travelers includes five conference planning committee members and conference program presenters.
