MOTION TO APPROVE County Administrator's nomination of Mr. Glenn A. Wiltshire for appointment to the position of Acting Port Everglades Chief Executive/Port Director.

Section 3.03.B. of the Broward County Charter and Section 2.6 of the Administrative Code require the Board to approve all nominations for department director.

Confirms the appointment of Mr. Glenn A. Wiltshire to the position of Acting Port Everglades Chief Executive/Port Director.

COUNTY ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

Section 3.03.B. of the Broward County Charter and Section 2.6 of the Administrative Code provide for the County Administrator to nominate all department heads subject to approval by a majority vote of the Commission. Consistent with these requirements, the County Administrator presents the nomination of Mr. Glenn A. Wiltshire for appointment to the position of Acting Port Everglades Chief Executive/Port Director with the recommendation that appointment be approved as presented, to be effective immediately upon approval.
