MOTION TO CONSIDER APPROVAL of a non-vehicular access line amendment on the Savannah Shops at Savannah P.U.D. (146-MP-89). (Commission District 5)

ACTION:  (T-10:30 AM)  Approved per staff's recommendations.

VOTE: 8-0.  Commissioner Sharief was not present.

Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves a non-vehicular access line amendment adjacent to the plat, subject to staff recommendations and conditions assuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

This plat is located southwest corner of Sunrise Boulevard and Flamingo Road, in the City of Sunrise. The applicant is requesting to amend the platted non-vehicular access line at the northeast corner on the portion Parcel A to relocate the existing opening approximately 38 feet south of its current location, and to widen the opening from 25 feet to 30 feet, limited to right turn in and out only. Additionally, the northeast corner of the non-vehicular access line which encroaches into the public right-of-way will be relocated. See attached Staff Report.
