THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT, THE ACCOUNTING DIVISION AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT RECOMMEND FOR APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
In accordance with the procedures outlined in Volume 1 of the Administrative Code, Chapter 3, Part II, Section 3.10 - County Employee Travel, attached is a request for two County employees from the Environmental and Consumer Protection Division to travel to Calgary, Alberta, Canada to attend the 2019 International Association of Transportation Regulators Conference.
The Environmental and Consumer Protection Division is a member of the IATR and will be sending two employees, Joseph O'Geen and Robert Apicella, to the conference. The conference is an opportunity to share ideas, learn how other jurisdictions are regulating the transportation industry, and stay up to date on emerging transportation regulatory trends. |
