MOTION TO ADOPT budget Resolution No. 2019-004 transferring budgets within the Transit Non-Grant Capital Fund in the total amount $820,000 for budgeting the design portion of various capital projects.

ACTION:  (T-11:20 AM)  Approved with Yellow-Sheeted Additional Material, dated January 8, 2019, submitted at the request of the Transportation Department.

VOTE:  9-0.

Board approval is required to increase the total capital project budget by more than 5% and to create a new capital project above $25,000. 

Amends the budgets within the Fiscal Year 2019 Transit Non-Grant Capital Funds for transit construction projects.

THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT/TRANSIT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
 

The Transit Division is requesting approval to transfer budgeted funds from bus capital within the Division's non-grant capital fund (transportation concurrency) in order to fund the following construction related projects:

Design for the Electric Bus Infrastructure in the amount of $100,000;

Design for Renovation of the bus wash at the Copans Transit Garage Facility in the amount of $120,000;

Design for a new HVAC system for the Maintenance Building at the Copans Transit Garage Facility in the amount of $200,000; and
 
Demolition of buildings 1 and 3 at Copans Transit Garage Facility in the amount of $400,000
