Summary Explanation/Background
THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

On January 7, 2014 (Item No. 12), the Board approved the non-exclusive agreements with Alliance Resource Consulting, LLC; Ralph Andersen & Associates; and Robert E. Slavin, Inc. d/b/a Slavin Management Consultants, which are set to expire on January 6, 2019. On July 9, 2014, the County also entered into a non-exclusive agreement with Colin Baenziger & Associates, which agreement expires July 8, 2019. This item seeks to extend these agreements on a month-to-month basis not to exceed 12 months. The amended agreements will allow for continuation of services while providing adequate time for a new library of services to be solicited and established during 2019. Additionally, extending these non-exclusive agreements do not preclude the County from soliciting additional firms to add to the Library, nor would the County be precluded from soliciting other firms for a particular executive search.

These amendments have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney. Once received, the signature pages will be noted in the Monday Night Memo.
