THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS/BOARDS SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.

The Children's Services Board (CSB) is comprised of 20 members appointed by the Broward County Commission. The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is one of the six organizations that nominate a member to be appointed by the County Commission.

The following nomination has been received by the Human Services Department (HSD) for appointment to the CSB pursuant to Section 1-485, Broward County Code:

Paige M. Patterson-Hughes as the Department of Children and Families Representative.

Ms. Patterson-Hughes was nominated by DCF to serve on the CSB on October 31, 2018. The County has determined that Ms. Patterson-Hughes qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
