MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution No. 2018-495 authorizing the County Administrator to advertise a Public Hearing to be held December 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 422 Governmental Center for adopting supplemental budgets to recognize changes in revenues and appropriations.

ACTION:  (T-10:28 AM)  Approved. 

VOTE: 8-0. 

Supplemental budgets are required whenever existing revenue sources, such as fund balances, are increased and the change results in an increase in the total budget for the fund.

The first supplemental budget of the year is primarily utilized to carry forward funds from the prior Fiscal Year for certain financial transactions which were authorized, but not completed in the prior year.

A public hearing is requested to adopt supplemental budgets in various County funds in the current Fiscal Year 2019.

The primary purpose of these supplemental budget amendments is to provide funds in Fiscal Year 2019 to pay for certain items and commitments initiated in Fiscal Year 2018. The funds for these items were budgeted in Fiscal Year 2018, but the transactions were not completed.
