Approval of this item allows the Office of the County Attorney to draft a proposed ordinance formalizing the organizational change moving the Medical Transport Services program from the Office of Medical Examiner and Trauma Services to the ECPD.
Proposed amendments to accomplish this organizational change include amending portions of Chapter 3½ and 22½ of the Broward County Code of Ordinances and Chapters 8½ and 33 of the Broward County Administrative Code, creating an enforcement program, and simplifying the medical transport vehicle process, including eliminating the requirement for license approvals to be made at the Board level. |
