THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT, THE ACCOUNTING DIVISION, AND THE TRANSIT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
In accordance with procedures outlined in Volume 1 of the Administrative Code, Chapter 3, Part II, Section 3.10 - County Employee Travel, attached is a request for five County employees from the Transit Division (BCT) to travel to Montreal, Canada to attend the 2018 - HASTUS International User Group Conference.
HASTUS is a software product used by BCT schedulers and bus operations staff for scheduling, operator work selection, bus operations management, and timekeeping. The conference provides a variety of learning and networking opportunities including workshops, training sessions, case studies, presentations, and roundtable with HASTUS solutions experts and users from around the world. BCT staff will be trained on the latest updates, developments, and gain valuable insights from hands-on experience with the HASTUS software.
