Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER SERVICES/WATER MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL
 
Water Control District No. 4 serves portions of the Cities of Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Coconut Creek and Oakland Park and the Municipal Services District as shown in Exhibit 1. The three-person Water Control District No. 4 Advisory Board reviews budget development and implementation information developed by County staff and submits a recommended budget to the Broward County Board of County Commissioners.

The two-year terms of Robert Hipps and M. Tom Muise on the Water Control District No. 4 Advisory Board are expiring. They have agreed to continue serving on the Advisory Board. It is recommended that they be reappointed pursuant to Broward County Code of Ordinances Section 36-14(b).
