Formalizes the responsibilities of the County and the City of Dania Beach regarding installation and maintenance of a lighting system along Bryan Road from Stirling Road to Old Griffin Road.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL

Bryan Road from Stirling Road to Old Griffin Road is a County road located in the City of Dania Beach. The City desires to undertake a project to improve this road at no cost to the County. The project involves installation of lighting on the west side of Bryan Road beginning just north of Stirling Road and continuing north for approximately 2,900 feet. Approval of the agreement will allow the City to undertake the improvement project. Upon project completion, the City will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the roadway lighting system, including all utility costs.

The agreement has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney and the Risk Management Division.
