THE AVIATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS MOTION.
This action is for the approval of a MAP for Gate Gourmet to provide in-flight catering services to air carriers at FLL.
Since 2003, Gate Gourmet has operated at FLL providing non-exclusive in-flight catering services through direct contracts with various named air carriers operating at FLL.
The proposed MAP will be effective on October 1, 2018, and will terminate on September 30, 2023. The proposed MAP has a 30-day written termination notice, with or without cause, by either party. Gate Gourmet has posted a security deposit in the amount of $152,813 which represents one-third of the estimated annual fees payable to the County.
The amounts referenced in this agenda have been rounded to the nearest whole dollar. Gate Gourmet payments will be based on the actual amount payable under the terms of this MAP. Additionally, the Agreement Summary Sheet reflects the rounded amount of the MAP fees paid by the Permittee.
