Broward County Commission Regular Meeting

MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution No. 2018-265 to transmit a proposed amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan Natural Resource Map Series (PCNRM 18-1), to update the Wetlands Map, as an amendment to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan, to designated State review agencies pursuant to Section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended, the substance of which is as follows:

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, TRANSMITTING A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE BROWARD COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; AMENDING THE WETLANDS MAP OF THE NATURAL RESOURCE MAP SERIES OF THE BROWARD COUNTY LAND USE PLAN TO DESIGNATED STATE AGENCIES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

VOTE: 6-0.  Commissioner Ryan was not on the dais during the vote. Commissioners Geller and Sharief were not present.

Pursuant to Section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended, the Broward County Board of County Commissioners, serving as the local governing body, shall transmit proposed amendments to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan to designated State agencies for review.

This action adopts a Resolution to transmit Broward County Land Use Plan amendment, PCNRM 18-1, to designated State review agencies pursuant to Section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended.

The Planning Council, as the Local Planning Agency (LPA) responsible for the Broward County Land Use Plan, considered the following proposed amendment, PCNRM 18-1, at its April 26, 2018, public hearing and recommended approval (Vote of the Planning Council; Unanimous: 16-0; Blattner, Breslau, Brunson, Castillo, DiGiorgio, Gomez, Good, Graham, Grosso, Moraitis, Rosenof, Rosenzweig, Ryan, Udine, Williams and Stermer).

AMENDMENT PCNRM 18-1
Amendment to the Natural Resource Map Series of the Broward County Land Use Plan to update the Wetlands Map.
