MOTION TO CONSIDER APPROVAL of a non-vehicular access line amendment on the Lanier Plat (013-MP-12). (Commission District 2)

ACTION:  (T-10:26 AM)  Approved per staff’s recommendations.
 
VOTE: 6-0.  Commissioners Geller, Holness and Sharief were not present.

Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (The Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves a non-vehicular access line amendment adjacent to the plat, subject to staff recommendations and conditions assuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

This plat is located on 7.1 acres on the southeast corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Northwest 31 Avenue, in the City of Pompano Beach. The applicant is requesting to amend the non-vehicular access line along Northwest 31 Avenue to provide a new 50-foot opening at the northwest corner of Parcel C that will be restricted to emergency access only.
