Board of County Commissioners’ approval is required pursuant to Florida case law for conveyance of interest in property to Broward County.

Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL

The Resolution will convey an irregularly-shaped road easement, measuring approximately 134 feet in length with a total area of 805 square feet, from Self Storage Coolidge St Hollywood, LLC to Broward County on N 21st Avenue. The parcel is located along the east side of N 21st Avenue, a County road, south of Coolidge Street, in the City of Hollywood. The easement is required to provide adequate sight distance for safety, facilitate the installation of future traffic control devices and pedestrian enhancements, and accommodate future multi-modal transportation improvements.

The Resolution and road easement have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
