THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
This plat, located on 2.6 acres on the north side of Dania Beach Boulevard, between Northwest 10 Court and Northwest 13 Avenue, in the City of Dania Beach, is currently restricted to 50 townhouse/multi-family units. The applicant is requesting bifurcation into Parcels A and A-1. Parcel A is restricted to 24 garden apartments and Parcel A-1 is restricted to 41 garden apartments and 57 mid-rise units. This is a proposed affordable housing project by the Dania Beach Housing Authority. See attached Staff Report.
