THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
This plat, located on 25 acres on the southeast corner of West Oakland Park Boulevard and Northwest 36 Terrace, in the City of Lauderdale Lakes, is currently restricted to 132 townhouse units; 327 high rise units; 18,800 square feet of commercial use; 10,000 square feet of library; and 10,000 square feet of community facility use. The applicant is requesting to revise the note on the plat to replace 327 high rise units with 317 mid-rise units, reduce the commercial use to 2,000 square feet, and remove conditions 1) and 2).
