Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL

The Resolution will convey an irregularly-shaped parcel of land, having a length of approximately 175 feet along NW 19th Street with a total area of 1,049 square feet, from Ashley Delfyette to Broward County by warranty deed for inclusion into the NW 19th Street right-of-way. NW 19th Street is a County road located in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The parcel is located along the south side of NW 19th Street east of NW 26th Terrace. The additional right-of-way will accommodate future multi-modal transportation improvements, provide adequate sight distance for safety, and facilitate the installation of future traffic control devices and pedestrian enhancements.

The Resolution and warranty deed have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
