HURRICANE SHELTER VOLUNTEERS - COMMISSIONER HOLNESS
ACTION: (T-4:32 PM) Commissioner Holness expanded on comments made by Mayor Furr regarding the staffing of shelters during a hurricane. Commissioner Holness noted that the topic of how best to encourage local towns and cities to participate in providing their staff members to assist in emergency shelters was discussed at a recent League of Cities Executive Meeting.
